Snowmass Snow Legend's grand offspring! A very beautiful pinto cria and we could see that he has gorgeous fleece (and a strong and fun personality - probably because he was born on the 4th of July) that caught his new owners' attention immediately. The new owners at Alpaca Rainbow Ranch (Colorado Springs) are excited to acquire Foxx and will show him in spring 2022.

Brand new. We will register him soon! Talen Ranch's Time Lord is a new beige male cria born in September 2022. Time Lord is an eye-catcher here on our farm. Time Lord came to us as a surprise because we expected a white offspring. After all, his sire and dam were both white. But, Time Lord came to us with beige and fabulous curls. We could not ask for a better one. Time Lord inherited the best qualities from Bayou and Ellesse's correct frame and fleece. We are curious about his color(s) when he has his first shearing in spring 2023- because sometimes we see beige, but sometimes we see white each time we assess fleece/close-to-skin. Plenty of fine fleece -- this is going to be interesting.....

Talen Ranch’s Timeless Verses. The colors look different each time we examine them, so we thought it would be cool to come up with that name for the little one! The fleece looks promising. We cannot wait to see when he matures.

Tolliver is a handsome young male born on our farm with bright, dense fleece, a soft handle, and fine, well defined crimp. He is an appaloosa with a few faint spots that are expected to become more noticeable after his first shearing. Though unproven, he is already showing the structural correctness and fleece potential valued in a breeding program. He is sired by Alpaca RainbowRanch’s Top Knot, a proven appaloosa herdsire who earned First Place Walking Fleece at the Nationals AOA Show in the multicolor yearling male category under judge Arturo Peña. Top Knot is the offspring of Apache Gentlemen, a notable appaloosa herdsire recognized for elite fleece traits and striking phenotype, and RainbowRanch’s Maggie, known for consistent fiber quality and balanced conformation. His dam, EON Max Factor’s Ellesse, is a proven white and beige female with a history of producing fine, bright fleece and passing strong conformation to her offspring. She is sired by EON Max Factor, a multi champion male with numerous show wins including multiple Color Championships and Reserve Championships across competitive halter and fleece shows. Max Factor is celebrated for his exceptional density, uniformity, and lasting fineness, traits he reliably passes to his progeny. Ellesse combines her sire’s award winning qualities with a calm temperament and a consistent production record. With Tolliver’s award winning sire, proven dam line, and appaloosa, he carries the genetic potential for outstanding fiber quality, color possibilities, and solid structure.

Draven’s heritage brings together two respected bloodlines. On his dam’s side, he is out of Bristol, offspring of AspenAlpacas Highpoint, offspring of the champion Silver Rose Overture, and backed further by Snowmass Golden Victory. This maternal line is recognized for brightness, density, and structural strength. On his sire’s side, Top Knot contributes award winning fleece noted for density, brightness, and uniformity, with the added uniqueness of harlequin genetics showing brown and black spotting and subtle grey shading. His pedigree is further supported by his half sibling Alpaca Rainbow Ranch’s Alchesay, well known for producing offspring with excellent fiber and conformation. Top Knot’s quality was acknowledged with First Place in Multiple Color Yearling Walking Fleece at the 2023 AOA Nationals under Judge Arturo Peña, with histogram results confirming the consistency of his fiber. Draven reflects the strengths of his lineage, carrying correct proportions, strong bone, and early signs of fleece quality. While still young, he shows the promise of becoming a valuable addition to any program as he matures.

Gorgeous Light Brown male with colors on the face (white, fawn, and black). Born on the 4th of July like his brother, Foxx, Jaxx is a shy and gentle male. His grandsire is the well-known Snowmass Snow Legend, and we could see that Snow Legend passed fine traits to this cria. We were encouraged by large alpaca herders to show him as his fleece is crimpy, and the length is just more than perfect. Perhaps you would want to consider taking him to one?

Sakota! We love this sweet yearning. He was the first cria out of Sky Ridge Alpaca's Cristal. His pedigree consists of high-quality genetics from the United States, such as Snowmass Matrix and Snowmass XXXtreme. His unique genetics would make him an asset to any herd. We planned to show him, but we did not have a chance. Let's chat and see if Sakota is the right one to be a part of your herd.

Carmello 355° is a handsome young male with rich medium brown fleece and a strong genetic foundation. His sire, Sequoia of Linden Hills (AOA 35444831, Beige), contributes exceptional structure and fiber qualities, while his dam, Grapplin Farms Amalie (AOA 35324355, True Black), adds depth of color and genetic strength. This combination of light and dark genetics positions Carmello 355° as a versatile male with potential for producing a wide range of colors. His conformation is balanced and correct, and his fleece shows early signs of fineness, brightness, and uniform character across the blanket. Because Carmello 355° is not yet registered through the AOA, he will be sold as a non-breeding male by default. If registration and breeding rights are negotiated, he may be sold as a breeding male at a higher sale price. Carmello 355° carries himself with presence and style, reflecting both the refinement of Linden Hills breeding and the depth of Grapplin Farms lineage. He is an exciting addition to the Talen Ranch program and one to watch.

Pilsner is a promising young white male with a touch of beige carrying powerhouse genetics from both sides of his pedigree. He is the son of Sequoia of Linden Hills (AOA# 35444831, Beige), a handsome male known for his excellent EPDs and proven production record. If you have seen his shearing video, you would know Sequoia is the real deal. You can also watch Sequoia’s YouTube fleece video on his shearing day on his OpenHerd page. With his large frame, heavy bone structure, and long staple fleece, Sequoia consistently delivers density, heavy fleece weight, and high frequency crimp, producing bright, ultra fine fleece with a heavenly handle and high yields for years. On the dam’s side, Waypoint’s Viognier (AOA# 35364863, Beige Light Fawn), affectionately called Gio, brings size, strength, and versatility. She is our largest female with a solid foundation built upon an impressive pedigree that includes Overture, Matrix, Messiah, and XXXtreme. Gio is a lovely female whose fleece may carry a looser crimp style, but her fineness and density remain consistently impressive. Her lineage also boasts a wide range of colors, adding valuable diversity and potential to any breeding program. Together, this pairing has produced Pilsner, a young male with correct proportions, a strong frame, and fleece that is already showing signs of brightness, density, and softness. He has the potential to grow into a quality breeding male or an excellent addition to a fiber focused program. Pilsner is not yet registered with the AOA and is therefore offered at a discount price. Crimson Effects is a striking yearling male with rich true black fleece and a pedigree to match. His sire, Flare’s Incan Nightfire (AOA 32761948, Dark Rose Grey), descends from Champion full Peruvian bloodlines and is admired for his uniquely colored modern grey fleece, fine bright and tightly crimped, as well as his correct conformation and stunning head. FIN carries the influence of legendary genetics such as Snowmass Peruvian Casanova and Snowmass XXXtreme Flare, both known for their excellence in color and fleece quality. His dam, Sweet Pines Soleil (AOA 36121908, Dark Fawn), contributes additional strength in color and uniformity, making Crimson Effects the product of a carefully balanced pairing. Crimson Effects reflects these genetics in his deep black fleece, which shows early signs of fineness, density, and even character across the blanket. His frame is sturdy and well balanced, and he carries himself with a confident presence that suggests both breeding and fiber potential. Because Crimson Effects is not yet registered with the AOA, he will be sold as a non breeding male unless negotiated otherwise. If sold with registration and breeding rights, the sale price will be higher.

Willow steals many hearts and has stunning fleece, and her pedigree shows it all! Her sire is Snowmass Reminiscence, and dam is beautiful Rockford Sweet Harmony that came from a fine pedigree of different colors, including black, brown, grey, and fawn. Destinee is a queen in disguise. With a superior soft fleece (17-18 during her unproven years), Destinee is a ray of light to all around her. Because of Destinee's age, we are selling her as a companion to a good home where she can enjoy her retirement.

We are excited to announce that we will be welcoming Winston from Alpaca Rainbow Ranch in Colorado Springs to our farm in April 2024. Winston, the offspring of Stargazer Shania and Rare Gem Drogon, possesses excellent conformation and fiber. As his dam Shania produced award-winning progeny, we believe Winston will be able to sire magnificent offspring as well. We are planning to breed Winston with our females in 2025 to establish him as a proven male. Let's connect if you want to breed your female(s) with Winston. Carmine is the daughter of Snowmass Snow Legend and the beautiful Rockford Sweet Harmony that came from a fine pedigree of different colors, including black, brown, grey, and fawn. Carmine is a sweet-tempered alpaca who enjoys sitting and relaxing. We love her and request that she be sold with Willow and Destinee.

Paloma is an attractive large white alpaca and is excellent with halter and fleece.

Twilight is an energetic and gorgeous female with fine and dense fleece. Registered as Bay Black; however, Sharon Longer placed Twilight in the Dark Silver Grey category during her first show (2016 Alpaca Affair) and won first place. Twilight loves to watch out for her herd and is a very happy alpaca. She loves to hop around to express her feelings. Her fine pedigree involves Multi Champions such as Rumm Runner and Patagonia's Ernesto.

Now this little beauty has grown, our first female cria born on our farm! Sing Me Rain, from Talen Ranch, arrived during a scorching August day with temperatures over 100 degrees. Later on, the weather suddenly changed, and a welcome rain shower came through. We were thrilled and started singing in celebration. Then, we decided to name her "Sing Me Rain." Pretty cool, don't you think? Rain is a stunning and impressive animal! Initially, Rain strongly resembled her mother, but now she is beginning to display the remarkable qualities of her father. She has a flawless facial appearance, and her fleece is exceptional. The histogram confirms the quality of her fleece, which we love for its length and brightness. Rain's sire was a two-time Reserve Champion, and her dam was a color champion, which makes us excited for what her future cria holds! Sing Me Rain has been bred to Top Knot from RainbowRanch, who has exceptional traits. Top Knot won first place in the Walking Fleece category for yearling mixed multicolor at the 2023 Alpaca Owners Association (AOA) Nationals competition. Judge Arturo Pena praised the fleece's consistent crimps, and we are proud of Top Knot's achievement.

In February of 2024, Shasta was acquired by our farm, and we are currently anticipating the arrival of a cria during the upcoming summer season of the same year. Shasta was awarded third place in both the 2021 CABA and AWE shows. She resembles her sire, a Fawn Roan, and exhibits strong fleece characteristics inherited from her dam, one of our top-ranking producers. Shasta's fleece is characterized by its extreme density, high frequency / high amplitude crimp, brightness, and fineness. Her pedigree is distinguished by such notable champions as Navigator, Ulysses, Constantino, Black Hawk, and Desert Sun. She embodies the best attributes of both her paternal and maternal lines, which are marked by generations of champions, leading us to believe that her crias will live up to her exceptional lineage. Shasta was bred to Crescent Moon's Sizzlin Shak for a summer 2024 cria. Stay tuned!
